Julian Talbot F.ISRM FRMIA


Julian is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) and a Fellow of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA). He holds a Master’s in Risk Management, is a Security Risk Management Certified Professional (SRMCP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Julian’s professional journey has taken him across continents, from Africa to Asia, the US, and Europe. His roles have been diverse, including options trader, risk management consultant, Head of Security for Austrade, Senior Risk Adviser for the Australian Department of Health, Security Manager for Woodside’s North West Shelf Venture, Head of Risk for Malaysian Smelting Corporation’s Indonesian operations, Operations Manager for a remote exploration camp in Africa, and Divisional Manager of an ASX-listed company.


Miles Jakeman AM PhD
 

Miles is a recipient of the Member of the Order of Australia (AM). He has a PhD in Business Leadership and is a Security Risk Management Certified Professional (SRMCP). Miles’s expertise spans business strategy, program management, and security risk management. Over his 30-year career, he has worked with the Australian Department of Defence, the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO), and the Australian Federal Police, as well as multinational companies. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his role as Board Chair for listed companies in Australia and the UK.


Jason Brown ASM SRMCP

​

Jason is Chair of the ISO Risk Management Technical Committee and the Australian Standards Committee—Security and Resilience and Adviser to the Board of Thales Australia. He is responsible for international trade and liaison with government, law enforcement, and the intelligence community, developing cooperative arrangements to minimize risk to Thales and those in the community it supports. His roles have included senior executive roles with the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) and the Australian Department of Defence Chief Security Officer. Jason was awarded the Australian Security Medal for Conspicuous Service in 2011.
